About BEPS
Welcome to BEPS!

At Beth El Preschool (BEPS), we provide a warm, positive environment where young children can begin to discover themselves and the world around them. Children are encouraged to be creative and curious while building a positive self-image and lasting friendships.
PLAY BASED PHILOSOPHY
Play is at the heart of learning and young children learn best by doing. At BEPS, children are encouraged to freely explore their classroom and their world through a variety of hands-on exploration, experimentation and discovery. Children learn to problem solve, communicate with their peers, ask questions, and value their own ideas through dramatic play, block play, science, art, manipulative materials, literature and one another.

JEWISH-BASED CURRICULUM
Judaism helps provide the foundation for our early childhood program. As part of a vibrant Conservative Jewish synagogue, Congregation Beth El, our program blends a Judaic and secular curriculum to nurture and support our preschoolers. Through holiday traditions, weekly rituals, story telling, music, art and history, we help our preschoolers develop a love of being Jewish.

PARENT PARTICIPATION/CO-OP
Parent involvement is an important component to the culture of our school and we offer many opportunities for parents to contribute their time and creativity. Our parents hold positions on our Parent Board, participate on committees and assist in the classrooms. Parents receive a unique birds eye view into our school and play an integral role in their child’s early education. Learn more about Co-oping here.
