
BEPS offers a fun-filled, six-week summer session for children who are 2-4 years old. Our camp classes are led by preschool teachers. Our teacher aides assist the teachers and are members of the staff. The teachers and teacher aides are assisted by our CITs, who are middle- and high-school students. Summer Program Information for CITs
Are you looking for a fun and meaningful part-time job this summer? Do you enjoy working with little kids? If so, consider a CIT position at Beth El Preschool for Summer 2026!
QUALIFICATIONS: Middle school and high school students who are rising 7th graders or older are welcome to apply. Previous experience babysitting or working with young children is a plus but is certainly not required. This role will be a good fit for you if you:

ABOUT THE JOB: CITs assist the teachers with setting up before camp each morning, playing with the children, getting snack ready, helping the children on the playground, reading stories, helping with art projects and cleaning up at the end of the day.
DATES & HOURS: Camp will run for six weeks, from Monday, June 22 through Friday, July 31. You do not need to be available all six weeks to apply. Some CITs will work with 3s and 4s Monday-Friday 8:45 am to 1:00 pm. Some CITs will work with 2s Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:45 am to 12:00 pm.
SSL HOURS & PAY: SSL hours are available for all CITs. A combination of SSL hours and pay is available for CITs who are rising 10th graders and older. The hourly pay rate for those eligible is $15.00.

Summer Program Information for Teacher Aides
Are you a college student or recent college grad? If you are looking for a fun and meaningful part-time job this summer and you have experience working with young kids, consider applying to be a Teacher Aide at BEPS for Summer 2026!
QUALIFICATIONS:

college coursework in early childhood education, elementary education, psychology, child development or other related field

experience working with young children through school, babysitting, work or internship

a positive, "can do" attitude

the ability to work well with adults, teens and young children

an enthusiastic attitude about having fun and playing with young children

ability to take direction from supervisors and act responsibly
ABOUT THE JOB: Teacher Aides are part of the summer staff and assist the teachers with setting up before camp each morning, playing with the children, getting snack ready, helping the children on the playground, reading stories, helping with art projects and cleaning up at the end of the day. Teacher Aides must be comfortable with changing diapers. Upon hire, Teacher Aides must be finger printed and background checked.
DATES & HOURS: Camp will run for six weeks, from Monday, June 22 through Friday, July 31. Depending on which age group you are hired to work with, your hours will either be Monday-Friday 8:45 am to 1:15 pm or Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:45 am to 12:15 pm. There will also be required paid training prior to camp.
PAY: The hourly pay rate is $20.80.
